JOSERA Extramil 50 is a high-quality milk replacer with 54% milk powder (buttermilk/skimmed milk powder) and no palm or coconut fat, designed for sustainable calf rearing. This milk replacer uses only dairy raw materials and fat components of exclusively European origin. The high proportion of milk protein from skimmed milk powder, buttermilk powder, and whey protein ensures excellent digestibility and tolerance in young calves. The addition of prebiotics and probiotics also supports nutrient digestibility. In general, we recommend using JOSERA Extramil 50 from the first week of life. From the fifth week onward, a switch to a more cost-effective follow-on milk replacer can be made.

Feeding recommendation

150 g/L water corresponds to 130 g/L milk replacer solution

For lambs:
180–200 g/L water = 160–180 g/L milk replacer solution

Preparation of the calf milk replacer in a bucket or milk taxi:

  1. Pour 1/3 of the required water volume at 40–45 °C into the mixing container.

  2. While stirring continuously, add the powder – use 130 g per liter of prepared milk replacer solution.

  3. Top up with the remaining 2/3 of the water to achieve the optimal drinking temperature of approx. 40 °C.

Setting for the automatic feeder:
150 g/L water corresponds to 130 g/L milk replacer solution

Weaning can begin once the calf consumes 1.5 kg of concentrate feed.
